1775 Continental Commission – This one was printed before the Declaration of Independence, and therefore says United Colonies. I find it interesting that 12 colonies are listed as such, but Deleware is listed by its 3 counties. New research has confirmed that these commissions were approximately legal-size documents (8.5 x 14).
