Baron Steuben\’s Regulations. We offer two versions of this historically significant book. This was the first drill manual adopted by the Continental Army, and is based on Baron Steuben\’s drill regulations taught at Valley Forge in 1778. This drill was used with very little modification by the Americans up to the beginning of the War of 1812. We offer a paperbound version of the book at the base price. For an additional $30, we offer the beautifully hand-bound version that matches descriptions of the original \”Blue Book\”, down to the newspapers used as end papers.
