Civil War Stationery from the North – We have always been a little disappointed with the envelope sizes available commercially, so, we started making our own. From our collection of almost 100 original styles of patriotic envelopes, our kit now contains four exact size reproductions of original envelopes, four sheets of correct note paper (now with properly printed lines), and 4 gently cancelled reproduction stamps. Most original patriotic envelopes were no bigger than 3 1/4 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide.
