Dime Novel - The Hunters by Latham Carleton - Published in 1863 by Irwin Beadle and George Munro, the book contains a court decision on the inside cover. It seems that Irwin Beadle left Beadle's and formed a new partnership with George Munro. His brother Erastus sued him for using the name Beadle and the word "Dime" in describing the books. The decision handed down by the court on the matter is printed on the inside front cover. All of this masks a rousing good story, with plenty of action and suspense.
