Casey’s Tactics Vol 3

Finally, we are able to offer a great hand-bound reproduction of Casey\’s Tactics, Volume 3, companion to Volume 1 and 2. Volume 3 finishes the School of the Battalion, and includes the School of the Brigade and the Corps. This small but comprehensive set was officially declared as THE manuals for the Union Armies in 1862. In Kautz\’s Company Clerk, he mentions 5 books that were issued to officers. Those 5 were Tactics (Casey\’s), Regulations, Bayonet Exercise, Outpost, and Target Practice. We currently offer four of these, and eventually hope to have all 5 in production. This outstanding work contains 183 pages and 29 plates (illustrations). A must have for any Union officer commanding more that a company, now available once again.
