Bouquet's Expedition A great book written about the experiences of Henry Bouquet, an English officer in the Seven Year's War. This very readable book (and not all of them are) contains Bouqet's advice on fighting in North America based on his experiences. There is also a detailed explanation of the use of light troops. Much of this advice went into the tactics and style of the British Light Invantry in the Revolution. The book also includes the famous and often quoted footnote on how to make a raincoat. 80 pages, 2 plates.
